Well it has been a busy time of getting our lil’home ready for this holiday season, we are hosting a few different events with friends and family over the next few weeks. This year for my Holiday Home Tour, I wanted to really get back to basics with the style of decorating and have a more wholesome, simple and classic theme for our holiday decor. I got rid of most all of our store bought ‘Xmas” decorations last year and began to pair fresh greens with vintage and handmade decorations, such as vintage papers, antique glass ornaments, burlap, linens and lots and lots of twinkle lights. I cut a few small spruce trees at a friends farm to put through out the house, I am so happy with this simplicity of the them and how clean they look. The cedar I have throughout was ordered through my local flower shop, Lofty Designs. I bought a box of mixed and a box of cedar which worked out to a much better price then buying the bundles individually. The two boxes were more than enough to use for the inside and outside of the house. I used wire to string together the garland on the front stairs and for the greenery around the french doors, I used artificial garland that I then attached fresh cedar to, find my DIY on how I did it here. I hope y’all had as much fun decorating this year as I did.

Remy chairs are Restoration Hardware
Our tree is from Costco and the slipcover sofa’s are from Ikea. I love that I can take the covers off and wash them at any point or if they get a stain.
