Candied Christmas Peacans 


Tis’ the season for yummy baking, chocolates and treats. I have a easy go to that I make and it is a favourite of  both my friends and family each year. Watch out though, I promise you won’t be able to eat just one!!


  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 500 grams pecan halves


Begin by preheating the oven to 250 degrees F.

In a large bowl, mix together sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

Whisk the egg white and water together in a separate bowl until frothy. Toss the pecans in the egg white mixture. Mix sugar mixture into pecan mixture until pecans are coated. Spread pecans evenly onto a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned, 1 hour.

I got tiny jars at the local Dollarama and wrapped them up in burlap and fresh greens for that cozy old fashioned Christmas feel.
