Homemade Apple Cider

Every year in my house at Christmas time, I love to entertain family and friends. I have a favourite party drink, which I will share closer to New Years, but I always like to have a scrumptious, non achoholic drink, bubbling away for the kiddos and non drinkers. This yummy Apple cider not only taste good, it makes your entire house smells A-MAZ-ING!!! I keep a small pot full of it, simmering awayy, most days over the season just to have it make my house smell good.

Enjoy ❤️

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp grated orange rind
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 pieces cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cups  apple juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • cheesecloth

Directions

In small square of double-thickness fine cheesecloth, tie up orange rind, cloves and cinnamon pieces; place in saucepan. Add apple and orange juice, cover and heat over medium heat just until boiling.

Remove from heat; let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
