Yesterday my sweet little girls best friend had her 6th birthday party in her new house. Her mom and my bestie Janelle, owner of Janelle Awe Photography, used her new photo studio to host a beautiful tea party. I had to share this simple but perfect tea party! Enjoy !
The room was set using a simple linen covered table and mix matched chairs. The all white studio does make it an easy backdrop to decorate and how about that sliding barn door!!!!
There was a short ladder, a simple chalkboard and paper lantern balls to add a pops of colour. The felt pom pom garland was a market purchase and similar ones can be found here on Etsy.
The fresh cut flowers all came from the garden and gave the perfect pop of colour.
Janelle has a huge collection of mix match china so she had a fun colourful table setting with mix matched plating. The PB & J sandwiches were all cut with heart shaped cookie cutters which made the girls feel so fancy! The girls all got to decorate a cupcake with fun toppings like gummy bears and Smarties.
The girls all felt like they had jumped right into a Fancy Nancy book and they had a blast. With the minimal decorations and fuss, Janelle and I were able to enjoy it as much as the girls.
